The purpose of this site is to bring awareness to the inhumane and cruel
treatment of animals , especially companion animals.
All living creatures large or small should be treated with respect and appreciated
for their individual characteristics.
However In my opinion one of the most important issues that
needs to be addressed right now
is the inhumane treatment of dogs in this country.
Dogs are abused, neglected, tortured and mistreated in every possible
way you can think of.
Considering all the love and joy these animals bring to our
lives while asking little in return, it’s a crime
for people to show them anything but love and compassion.
 
Which one are you pulling for? The bull or the matador.

Heat Advisory
We can probably expect another record setting summer with a lot
of days in the 90’s and even 100’s. Please think about your pets
and do whatever is necessary to keep them cool.
Every summer animals die due to heat exhaustion.
If you cannot keep them inside on really hot days make sure
They have shade and plenty of water that cannot be
tipped over.
All it takes for a dog to overheat is to be in direct
sunlight and not have water to drink.
Please don’t let this happen to you, or more
importantly, your dog.
  
All over the world animals of all kinds are being mistreated.
Whether it’s cats and dogs, farm animals, circus performers or wildlife,
it doesn’t matter, being cruel and mistreating any kind
of animal is just plain wrong.
Animal lovers have to unite and do whatever it takes to stop
the cruelty.
This is a very serious problem that is not going away
without people getting involved.
Please, wherever you may be, if you witness an act
of cruelty on a helpless animal, get involved.
Let people know their actions are unacceptable and do whatever
it takes to help them understand what they
are doing is wrong.
The more of us that speak up and get involved,
the better off animals will be.
Please be a voice for those
who need one.
